The end of not beginning.

So here it is. The blog that I have thought about in my head since before our big move to Florida. Because I have waited over a month to actually get to starting this blog (which was much easier than I thought), I have plenty to write about. And of course I waited until midnight on a saturday before an early morning sunday to write so I will not be sharing much tonight.

But I can tell you that tomorrow we will be attending church in our new ward, the Lynn Haven Ward here in Panama City. The chapel is about a 2-3 minute drive from our complex or a 15-20 minute walk (more on how I know that in a later post). I am looking forward to church tomorrow as Michael finally has a sunday off. He has been with me twice (out of six) so far, and has yet to be able to attend a three hour service.

We were visited by the Elders just yesterday and I told them that he has never been to third hour and to come find us so he can join them… he gave me a bit of a "your gonna pay" smirk when I said this to the missionaries, but it is for his own good. The missionaries said elders quorum is practicing for their christmas song performance and that the entire hour is quite amusing. Just a little background, Michael and I are easily the youngest couple in the ward, and I would say the average age of the congregation is between 60-70 years. I think talking with us was a breath of fresh air for those two young men..

Anyway, this late evening post puts an end to not beginning my blog. So much more to come.
